35th Wedding Anniversary Pictures

1 - After about a half mile drive up the mountain, it is "Park and Walk" the last 100 yards	2 - The cabin is perched at the top of a mountain overlooking the Chattahoochee National Forest	3 - Dad gets some needed R&R after the hike up to the cabin! The last 100 yards or so can only be traversed by foot unless you are fortunate enough to have a four-wheel drive vehicle
4 - Mother rests on the front porch after the exhilarating hike up to the cabin	5 - Mother decides to take her shoes off and rest awhile in the "air chair" swing ......	6 - ..... And she didn't want to stop swinging!
7 - There was a wonderful view and from the front porch	8 - Another view looking out over the mountains from the porch	9 - All the comforts of home, even a beautiful grandfather clock
10 - Mother sorts out our belongings after the hike up to the cabin	11 - Mother enjoying all of her Home and Garden Channel programs on satellite TV	12 - From the porch, we enjoyed a beautiful Harvest Moon all week
13 - We enjoyed shopping and being together in Helen, Georgia on our 35th Anniversary	13 - Helen, Georgia - The town has been designed to be a "German Town"	14 - Helen, Georgia is the perfect place for "BBQ by the River" together

Well, we hated to leave this wonderful mountaintop retreat ..... 

All those restful nights on the mountaintop [Dad is sound asleep in the easy chair] .....

Where we enjoyed sitting under a full moon in our rocking chairs out on the porch ..... 

But all good things must eventually come to an end .....

So we reluctantly left this mountain hide-away just like we found it .....

And headed back down the mountain .....

Mother was thankful there would be no more of those nighttime hikes up the mountain in the rain!
